Michael Berkeley's guest is actor David Rintoul, who is currently appearing on stage in London's West End as Dr Jake Houseman in James Powell's production of Dirty Dancing.
A well-known stage actor, Rintoul has played a range of roles from Shakespeare to David Hare, and on TV he has appeared in many period dramas including Pride and Prejudice, Poirot and The Inspector Alleyn Mysteries, and he played Dr Finlay in the remake of Dr Finlay's Casebook.
A passionate music lover, his choices today range from Monteverdi's Coronation of Poppea to Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celeste, Sibelius's Symphony No 5 and music by Charles Mingus and Michael Marra |
