 The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra are well known for their quality and great fun “Last Night of the Christmas Proms”. I note that "Billy" from “Dirty Dancing” is presenting and singing in the show. Details:
Conductor: Gavin Sutherland
Presenter & Soloist: Chris Holland (tenor)
Portsmouth Guildhall on 18th December 2008 at 19:30
Exeter University Great Hall on 19th December 2008 at 19:30
Poole Lighthouse on 20th December 2008 at 15:00 & 19.30
Southampton Guildhall on 22nd December 2008 at 19:30
Chris Holland was fabulous in the “Les Miserable” Concert and “Queen Spectacular” with the Orchestra and anyone living in the area will have the “time of their life” if they are able to get tickets which are available from the BSO website. |

| Went to see Chris Holland at Exeter for Last Night of the Christmas Proms and the Concert was brilliant. The rapport between Chris and the Conductor, Gavin Sutherland, was superb and led to many comical moments whilst the orchestra played Christmas favourites to an extremely high standard. Chris sang Christmas numbers ranging from crooning to falsetto and rock to jazz. The sell out crowd loved every minute and joined in to make it a truly memorable occasion. |

The BSO are advertising their Christmas 2009 programme which again includes Chris Holland:
Guildhall, Portsmouth on Thursday, 17th December
Poole Lighthouse two shows on Saturday 19th December
University Great Hall Exeter on Monday 21st December
Guildhall Southampton on Tuesday 22nd December
If the shows are half as good as last years they will be brilliant.
